In this 1962 photograph, decorated World War II veteran Milo Huemphner enjoys Christmas with his children, Jackie, Wayne, Milo Jr., and Geri. Huemphner received the Distinguished Service Cross in 1945 for his heroic actions during the Battle of the Bulge in the village of Leignon, Belgium. The recently opened Department of Veteran's Affairs outpatient clinic on Green Bay's east side is named after him.
