Mrs. Gearwin Tousey, left, accepted the Bronze Star and Purple Heart awarded to her husband who was killed in Vietnam. To the right of Mrs. Tousey are Mr. & Mrs. Lloyd Begotka, whose son Joseph was also killed in Vietnam and was awarded the Bronze Star, Air and Army Commendation for Valor medals, and the Purple Heart. The 1968 ceremony was held at the National Guard Armory with Captain Ronald Guthrie presenting plaques.
