Cedar Street Progress

Taken in September 1966, this aerial shows the progress being made to widen Cedar Street to six lanes in conjunction with Gregby 1 dowtown urban renewal. The Gregby Committee was formed in 1956 with the goal of revitalizing Green Bay's downtown shopping district. In the process, historic buildings were razed and streets reconfigured to accommodate plans for an indoor shopping mall.
