Washington Senators outfielder and first baseman, Frank Howard, poses with Little Leaguers after speaking at the 1970 Nicolet Paper Company athletic banquet. Howard settled in the area when he was signed by the Dodgers in 1958 and played through September with their Green Bay team in the Class B Three-I League . He played for the Dodgers until 1964 and for the Senators until 1971. After spending the off season here for many years, he resettled in northern Virginia in the 1990s.
