O. Van Dycke Brewing Company Employees

Employees of the O. Van Dycke Brewing Company pose in front of their brewery c. 1890.Originally founded as the City Brewery in 1872, the brewery stood on the southwest corner of Chicago and Jackson Streets in Green Bay. Louis Van Dycke purchased the brewery in 1876 and renamed it the Green Bay Brewery. Van Dycke's wife Octavia took over the brewery and changed the name to O. Van Dycke Brewing Co following his death in 1881. The brewery ceased operations in 1908.
