Empty for the first time in 100 years, the skyline at Washington and Main Streets presents this vacant space where the Beaumont Hotel once stood. The hotel opened in 1866 and was razed in the summer of 1963 to make way for the new Beaumont Motor Inn (now the Days Inn).
