Local residents gathered at the Chicago Northwestern Depot (now Titletown Brewing Co.) to get a glimpse of Dwight D. Eisenhower. The Republican candidate's stop in Green Bay was part of his campaign swing through Wisconsin in October 1952. Eisenhower won a decisive victory against Democratic opponent Adlai Stevenson with 55% of the popular vote in November of that year.
