Blizzard Conditions
A blizzard with 45 mph gusts of wind hit Green Bay at seven in the morning on February 10, 1959 and had shut down the city by noon. Police and other city workers faced the brunt of the storm as they directed traffic and cleared the streets. In this image, the Brusky building at the intersection of Washington and Walnut Streets can be seen in the background.
