Women and children descend from streetcars on an August afternoon in 1920 to enjoy a picnic in the grove at Hagemeister Park. The streetcar also serviced fans attending baseball games at the park and, later on, football games at City Stadium. The park, located where East High School now stands, was the end of the line for the Walnut streetcar.
