"This work is one in a series focusing on the importance of ephemeral ponds for life in our environment. These wetlands provide insects a breading ground, that then become food for other species. Amphibians start their lives and animals rely on them for food and water. I have incorporated insects and creatures to meld the importance of these things and bring awareness to the ponds' importance."
