"The art quilt "Homesick" is a reflection of my feelings in the past few years. One of my parents has passed, the other is in a memory care home. The photo in the snowglobe in the quilt was taken when I was about 6 years old with my parents at our cabin in Alaska. The memories of our family and how we were back then is what I am homesick for, but they will always be in my heart."
