Silk, Wool, and Beads (16" x 32" x 16")
"Hand dyed silk chiffon, merino wool, glass beads. Nuno felted, needle felted, beaded, traditional hand wet felting. This scarf was begun several years ago in a felting class. Not happy with the results, it remained unloved in the bottom of a drawer in the studio. Discovering it one day, not long ago, I decided to improve upon it by adding additional felting and creating the flower and beading to add some pizzazz. Recherché means exquisite and refined."
