Captain George M. Matheson brought the motor vessel D.C. Everest into the American Can dock, the first foreign flag vessel of the season on April 16th, 1968. Matheson was presented with a US Treasury citation for the honor. Albert C. Popp, Director of Customs in Green Bay, second from left, presented the citation to Matheson.
