President Taft

President Taft stands at a decorated podium at a reception in front of Brown County Courthouse on October 26, 1911. Green Bay was Taft's first stop in Wisconsin. His speech centered on the ratification of a peace treaty. The reception and speech brought an estimated 10,000 to 15,000 people to Green Bay, the largest crowd ever assembled for the time.
