Otto Kaap had been at 212 South Washington Street for almost ten years when this photograph was taken in 1923. First located on Main Street in 1909, he moved to 211 Pine Sreet a year later. The need for more space prompted his move to the Washington Street location where he opened for business May 1, 1914.
