"The chief rolling stock of the interurban division of the Green Bay Traction Company, between Green Bay and Kaukauna consisted of six stately Niles-built cars like the one shown here, numbered from 102 to 107, inclusive. They made the run from Green Bay to Kaukauna - and from Kaukauna to Green Bay hourly from 5:30 A.M. to 11:30 P.M., and the needed heat in the winter was supplied by a coke-burning hot water system. this interurban line proper was built in 1901 at a cost of about (one and one half million dollars) , but was put out of business by the automobile and good roads, and was sold for scrap by 1930/ these six fine cars were built by the Niles car Manufacturing Company, and number 104 is shown here, ready to go out on its run with Felix Lemmens (left) Conducter, and Charles Jorgensen, Motorman."
