Located on Mason Street, between Monroe Avenue and Quincy street (on the north side of mason). The water that bubbled from this Spring was believed to be endowed with valuable medicinal properties, and actually built up quite a distribution in this area as bottled "Health Water". There were actually visions of establishing Green Bay as a sort of "Health Resort" where people would come to live or stay at a hostelry to better their health by drinking Allouez Spring Water. This just did not come to pass. but Allouez Spring Water has continued to be used as a base for bottled soft drinks.
