Willie Wood Giving Back to the Youths of Green Bay
Here, Packer legend Willie Wood is seen talking with a group of children at the Green Bay Boy’s Club no. 2 (currently the Boys & Girls Club of America). On this day he spent time with the kids, signed autographs, played games like pool and basketball, and helped build a push-kart. Wood, who played Free Safety with the Packers from 1960 through 1971, was inducted to the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame in 1977 and the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1989.
